Library situation at the Institute of Anthropology
In 2008 the library holdings of the Institute of Anthropology were completely transferred into the University Library. Thus, access to the books and journals of the former Institute's library is still given corresponding to the library policy of the University Library.
All students and staff may actively shape the holdings of the Institute of Anthropology: In case of permanetly loaned or missing items, we could send up a request. Furthermore, the University Library's system automatically notices frequent loan tries what leads to the purchase of further examples.
You can also propose the purchase of important books - with our help or directly at the University Library (form / website). Thus, if you have suggestions, please don't hesitate to formulate them; we strive to consider these ideas.
