The new Master's programme in "Transcultural Studies" of the Faculty of Philosophy is due to start up at Heidelberg University this coming winter semester 2011/2012. Students will be taking an interdisciplinary perspective on the investigation of cultural exchange and the relations materialising from it. The two-year M.A. programme is organised by the Cluster of Excellence “Asia and Europe in a Global Context” which hosts also the chair for Visual and Media Anthropology (Prof. Brosius).
